Update from the "I AM HERE COALITION" Meeting
The Grant Halliburton Foundation is making a difference in DFW by reaching out to the community. They have developed a mental health screening tool to be used by Pediatricians. They are gathering all the numerous resources out there to be in one location. They are currently trying to get funding for web site development. They also trained Community In School (CIS) employees to go into CFBISD & Frisco to facilitate a peer support group (The Living Room).
So, I am asking that you please forward any resources regarding suicide prevention or youth mental health. We are collecting articles as well.

“This poignant documentary adds a personal perspective to a major public health problem, highlighting that while there is a need for suicide prevention and intervention, current treatments for depression are promising & offer hope."
